I did this to use in my portfolio stuff as a logo or theme. Thiel had suggested that we start 'branding' ourselves right away, so that clients can start associating our names with our art, that's important. Everything has this on it- my business card, my self-promo stuff, my letterhead, and my portfolios have it on every page, along with a handwritten 'signature.' It's not actually my signature, because my real signature's illegible, but I did write my name in brushpen in my 'legible' handwriting.

A tanuki/kistsune mixbreed named Sendiri falls slowly into deep clear water...for whatever reason. And for the same reason, cherry blossoms glow blue. Character design is Wolf Nymp's, image done for the Yerf trading post. The lanterns were inspired by the Myst games.

Dec. 2005 Here's a rather amusing angle of my Anubis mask. It won the 'Anu-Best' award at the Further Confusion 2005 art show, much to my surprise and happiness. Echo the genet, recording a song... I got the idea from an image of Kyoko from Maison Ikkoku doing a recording session, and saw my character Echo in the same type of situation =). Its been over a year since I've drawn/painted her anyways... her design has changed a bit. Watercolors and acrylic paints on 8"x10" illustration board.
